new traffic/construction alerts

Effective Monday, May 2, 2011 major road construction (milling in preparation for paving) is scheduled for Christopher Columbus Drive between Brunswick and Warren St. from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will continue through Friday, May 6, 2011.

Please be advised a Newport 10K race is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2011 with race starting at 8:30 a.m. Please expect traffic delays in the Newport and Paulus Hook areas between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
